micro glow up part one⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🧁
in this post we'll be talking about habits and little ways in which u can improve ur health and appearance without doing anything too drastic. a micro-glow up to stay polished…💬🎀
DRY SHAMPOO ;
dry shampoo helps with smell and reducing oil and all in all just a rly super useful tool that i hope we're all taking advantage of! so to use it simply divide ur hair into sections and shake the canister before application.
make sure that u hold it at least 10-12 inches away from ur roots. and then just brush it out and voila. just get the dry shampoo that matches ur hair color. so for me i have black hair so i'd purchase a dry shampoo that is designed specifically for dark hair.
WRAP UR HAIR AT NIGHT ;
create a protective barrier around ur hair at night to prevent frizz. with things like silk wraps and bonnets etc. treat ur hair LIKE A BABY. be super gentle to it so it can be soft and moisturized. if ur hair is more coarse or thick use the dominican tubi wrap.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT SHAMPOO ;
so theres a difference between ur everyday shampoo and a CLARIFYING shampoo. a clarifying shampoo is simply more of a deep clean so if ur using a clarifying shampoo EVERY single day you'll find that ur hair is lowkey straw-like and thats not the move.
clarifying shampoo is a super deep cleanse for ur scalp and u shouldn't be using it every single day…💬🎀
furthermore using a scalp scrub once a week or two weeks to stimulate ur scalp is rly rly wonderful. to just kind of do a deep clean of ur scalp and stimulate blood flow which can also help hair growth.
IF YOU HAVE ACNE ;
i used to have bad acne so i think im qualified to talk EXTENSIVELY on this subject but i won't make this section of the post too lengthy but i think these tips are valuable if ur struggling with acne…💬🎀
♡ invest in a pimple popping tool kit
u can literally get these off of amazon and u can learn to use them via youtube but as long as u store them properly and use them properly u can get rid of whiteheads and black heads safely and most effectively.
when doing an extraction wash ur hands and the area that ur about to extract from to make sure u have a super clean base. also make sure to soften the skin with a warm washcloth before starting. i've found that it minimizes pain.
hot tip : warm water opens pores and cold water tightens pores which is why when doing an extraction its important to use warm water and when ur done wash with cold water…💬🎀
♡ use blotting papers if u have oily skin
♡ invest in adorable and effective pimple patches
THE IMPORTANCE OF FACE MASKS ;
make sure to understand ur skin type/skin concerns before committing to a specific face masks. for example if u have more oily skin use a clay mask once or twice a week, if u have dryer skin go for a hydrating face mask. i rly rly LOVE sheet masks.
ALL ABOUT BROWS ;
wash ur brows with a gentle cleanser and make sure to keep them groomed cuz it makes ur eyes look bigger and gives u a more rejuvenated look. plus it makes u look very clean. dont forget to wash ur brows because washing them stimulates growth + prevents ingrown and painful pimples within or around ur brows.
ALL ABOUT EARS ;
DONT OVERLOOK UR EARS. make sure to clean in and around ur ears. like when ur showering just take ur finger with a little bit of gentle cleanser and just clean the shell of ur ear, the lobe, behind ur ears etc. do this on a daily basis. it literally takes 2 seconds.
and to clean ur ears DONT use a cotton swab. ik it feels rly good sometimes but what it does is just push the wax back into ur brain or whatever so instead take a cotton ball and soak it in some warm water, hydrogen peroxide and mineral oil and just tilt ur head to the side <- so that the opening of ur ear is facing up and hold for about a minute and then tilt ur head back and let the fluid drain out.

How to be like Jang Wonyoung
As many of you requested, part 2 of my it girls series is all about Jang Wonyeong, who's not only absolutely STUNNING, but also incredibly talented, hardworking, and of course successful. Let's get right into it!! <33
Wonyoungs Energy:
Wonyoung is incredibly charismatic, which makes her stand out without even trying!!
She has a bubbly and likeable Personality, Wonyoung appears happy and welcoming, she easily lights up a room with just her presence.
Aside from being cute and cheerful, Wonyoung is also known for being extremely hardworking!!
Confident and Unbothered. Despite receiving quite a bit of unnecessary hate, Wonyoung stays indifferent and true to herself!!
Elegant and feminine. No one does the ‘Elegant feminine self-love girly’ aesthetic like her, she is THE girly girl!! <3
Mindset:
Learn to deal with jealousy, Wonyoung gets plenty of hate, but let's be real for a second… we all know that is because of jealousy. Pretty, successful, smart, and popular? Of course, people will be jealous!!
“While practising self-love, you see good and pretty things about yourself. If I focus only on those things, I don't need to pay much attention to the criticism.”
Don't compare yourself to others “You are you, I am me”.
Keep to yourself. Stop telling people your ideas, your dreams and how you plan to archive them, your goals etc. Let your actions speak for themself!! <3
No more negative self-talk!!
Be your number 1 priority!! Take care of yourself, do what's good for you, eat well, care for your body, skincare, haircare, and your education!! PRIORITIES
Skincare
Skincare. Wonyoung has Flawless skin, finding a skincare routine that works for you can help you archive similar results!!
Wonyoungs skincare routine:
According to Google, Wonyoung only uses Innisfree products and starts by double cleansing her face, for that, she uses the Green Tea Cleansing Oil ($24), and the Green Tea Amino Acid Face Cleanser ($12)
To get the dewy class skin effect, hydration is key!! In the morning, Wonyoung likes using the Green Tea Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($30) and the Dewy Glow Tone-up Cream ($26)
Of course, you can't forget SPF. Wonyoung uses the Mild Cica Sunscreen Tone-Up SPF 50+ PA ++++, which is also great for acne-prone and sensitive skin types!! :)
For her night routine, she likes the Retinol Cica Moisture Recovery Serum ($37) and the Dewy Glow Jelly Cream ($26).
Elevate your daily life:
Healthy diet. Eating nutritious and healthy food is the first and most important step to clear skin and an overall good feeling!! Make sure to eat enough protein (ex. yoghurt, chicken, tofu or eggs), lots of fruits and veggies, and healthy fats (ex. Avocados, fish, nuts, olive oil)!!
Exercise daily. Besides dancing, Wonyoung loves pilates!! You can find lots of great Pilates videos on YouTube!!
Work on your posture!! Having good posture will not only make you feel better but also lets you appear more confident, elegant and put together. Try daily stretching and exercises to improve it <3
Try establishing a proper morning and night routine, this can help you stay structured and relaxed even on more messy and busy days.
Content that makes you feel better!! Start watching channels like thewizardliz, vogue beauty secrets, and read motivating blogs. (like mine lol <3)
Makeup:
Wonyoung is known for her iconic glittery and feminine make-up!!
Light pink blush, plump lips, glowy skin and a glittery but not too heavy eye look.
Foundation on the centre of your face and blend outwards for a naturally contoured look.
Always apply your matt products before your shimmers, that way, your makeup looks cleaner!! Also, apply your glitters from finest to chunkiest. :)
Don't apply your shimmers/glitters past the middle of your eyelid to avoid looking puffy.
If you have warm-toned skin, go for peachy glitters, for cool-toned skin, choose a champagne-coloured one.
If your struggle with dark under eyes, blend your concealer with your fingers!! This will give it a lot more coverage.
You can find lots of tutorials on Wonyoung-inspired make-up on YouTube, this one is my favourite.
I hope this little guide was helpful, I wasn't too familiar with Wonyoung, but I did some research since she was the number 1 most requested person for this!! :)
As always, please feel free to share your own suggestions in the comments and let me know who you want me to write about next! <3

UR SO PRETTY N FEMININE, literal definition of bimbo barbie 🤭 please give the girlies some tips on make up, skincare, and overall being more girly! thnxs🌷
-🐶
hey girlie!! THIS IS SOSO SWEET AWEE!!! here are some tips i have n some of my secrets!! ૮꒰ྀི >⸝⸝⸝<꒱ྀིა 🧁☁️🐇🌷
1. finding the vibe🧸
it's not hard to be hyperfeminine or a bimbo, do a lil research n see what you like! i mean there are 100s of popculture bimbos to follow after (elle woods, karen smith, regina george, blair waldorf, holly madison, cher from clueless) and with the modern hyperfemininity movement you can really be any type of girlie.
i listed above my fav bimbos above! i personally hyperfixated on different things in each of their personalities or lifestyle! i wanted a girlie room like maddy perez, elle woods intelligence, blair waldorf and regina georges fashion nd confidence, holly madison's...just everything, etc. just observe and manifest! writing this all down in a journal about your new feminine lifestyle may help you concentrate on ways to make you more feminine!!
2. skincare and makeup🧼
now let's start with skincare!
cleansers: i love a double cleanse! an oil cleanser will remove sebum and other icky stuff in your pores it also helps remove makeup after a day of wear. foam cleansing is next this go deep into the pores in more hard to reach areas or used to take care of any acne
toners: i love how plump and soothing toners are! i prefer toners that hydrate my skin and provide a layer of hydration making toners the perfect way to prep for serums!
serums: by targeting acne, dark spots, dry areas, etc with serums boosts your skin youth and complexion. just remember retonoids on dry skin, exfloxiators like aha and bha on dry skin before hylaronics like peptides, snail mucin, etc. ampoules are after serums to lock in all other products
treatments: tretnoin is my lifesaver! along with aha/bha! those masks should be washed off well or bleaching of the skin can occur especially with benzoyl peroxide!
moisturizer: depending on your skin type and concern your moisturizer will be different but remember you want non-striping or exfloxiating ingredients, otherwise it won't work! at night locking these products in with an oil or ointment like snail mucin oil or aquahor!
fav skincare brands: anua, cosrx, beauty of joseon, centella, and innisfree
bodyyyyy🍡
smelling good makes you feel good! pair different scents together makes you feel amazing and will let ppl become intoxicated with you. this goes with dressing you body type! personally i believe pink goes on everyone but if you want you can go by you undertones to find the right shades and colors will look good on you along with dressing to your comfort.
pretty mini skirts, dresses, paired with a lotioned body smelling of cake and fruit...perfection!
princess treatment🛍
here are some misc.d tips i put together for you! hope this'll help more
treat yourself like a princess, go shopping, relax in bubble baths, keep your room clean, spoil yourself daily...you deserve it!
style your hair, whether it's dying it or curling it have fun! showing off how pretty your hair is allows for focus to also be on your pretty face! that means taking care of your hair is important too!
search for different makeup styles, like gyaru, korean style makeup, baddie makeup, soft glam, etc each style will provide a different image or facade. just find what works for you and facial shape, but that doesn't mean you can't adjust different makeup style to fit your features.
keeping track on your journey of being a bimbo! write down milestones, different products you choose to use or different styles you want to try. remember this is all fun!

skincare practices
skincare refers to the practice of maintaining and improving the health and appearance of your skin. this post is a guide on where to start!
having a routine (starting with simple practices)
cleanser: begin and end your day by washing your face with a gentle, sulphate-free cleanser. even if your skin feels clean, this step removes any impurities.
moisturizer: apply a fragrance-free moisturizer twice a day. hydration is crucial for maintaining a healthy skin barrier.
sunscreen: protect your skin from uv damage by using a mineral- or chemical-based sunscreen with at least spf 30. apply it in the morning.
skin types
there are 5 primary skin types, each with unique characteristics and needs.
normal skin is balanced and not too oily or dry. it's like the goldilocks of skin types! maintain it with a gentle routine. if your skin is generally normal, opt for a lotion. as you age, consider switching to a cream-based moisturizer for added hydration.
dry skin lacks hydration, feels tight, and may have flakiness. opt for richer moisturizers with ingredients like hyaluronic acid and ceramides. for dry skin, skip lotions and go for creams or ointments. these provide more moisture and help preserve water in the skin.
oily skin produces excess oil, especially in the t-zone (forehead, nose, and chin). use lightweight, oil-free products and consider salicylic acid for acne-prone areas. if you’re prone to oiliness, choose a light gel-based moisturizer to avoid clogging pores.
combination skin is a mix of oily and dry areas. focus on balancing - light moisturizers for oily zones and richer ones for dry areas. treat your face as two zones. moisturize the dry areas and skip the oily ones. remember to look for spf 30 or higher for sun protection!
sensitive skin is prone to redness, irritation, and reaction. choose fragrance-free, hypoallergenic products and patch-test any new products.
common skincare mistakes
skipping sunscreen. sunscreen is non-negotiable! protect your skin from uv damage by using spf 30 or higher daily. if you live in a sunny environment, make sure to reapply before you go outside!
not cleansing before bed: properly cleanse your face before sleeping. it removes dirt, makeup, excess oil, and pollution remnants, preventing breakouts and maintaining healthy skin.
sleeping with makeup on. gross! no! remove your makeup before you go to bed to prevent clogged pores and skin irritation.
using too many products. overloading with products can overwhelm your skin, so learn how to simplify your routine. additionally, using products that are not right for your skin may have negative effects - creating more issues instead of solving them.
overusing acne products. be gentle with acne treatments. overuse can lead to dryness and irritation.
using harsh products. avoid aggressive ingredients that strip your skin. opt for gentle formulations.
remember - healthy skin starts with mindful habits.

Skincare Acids: A Guide to Healthy Skin
In the world of skincare, various acids play a pivotal role in promoting healthier and more radiant skin. These acids are used in products like serums, cleansers, and exfoliants. Let's explore a few of the most popular ones:
1. Hyaluronic Acid (HA):
Known for its powerful hydrating properties, hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. It helps the skin retain moisture, leaving it plump and supple.
2. Glycolic Acid:
A type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), glycolic acid is excellent for exfoliating the skin. It removes dead skin cells, unclogs pores, and can improve the appearance of fine lines and hyperpigmentation.
3. Salicylic Acid:
This beta hydroxy acid (BHA) is effective for treating acne and oily skin. It penetrates pores, exfoliates the inside of the follicles, and helps reduce inflammation.
4. Lactic Acid:
Another AHA, lactic acid is gentler than glycolic acid. It provides mild exfoliation, making it suitable for sensitive skin. It can improve texture and hydration.
5. Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid):
Although not a traditional acid, vitamin C is essential for brightening the skin, reducing hyperpigmentation, and protecting against free radicals. It promotes collagen production.
6. Retinoic Acid (Retin-A):
A derivative of vitamin A, retinoic acid is known for its anti-aging properties. It can improve fine lines, wrinkles, and skin texture. It may cause some initial irritation.
7. Azelaic Acid:
Effective for treating rosacea and acne, azelaic acid has anti-inflammatory and exfoliating properties. It can help reduce redness and hyperpigmentation.
8. Kojic Acid:
Often used in products designed to lighten skin, kojic acid can help fade dark spots and even out skin tone. It's a milder alternative to hydroquinone.
9. Ferulic Acid:
Often combined with vitamin C and vitamin E, ferulic acid has antioxidant properties that enhance the stability and effectiveness of other ingredients.
10. Mandelic Acid:
A gentler AHA, mandelic acid is suitable for sensitive skin. It can improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and help with acne.
When incorporating acids into your skincare routine, it's essential to start slowly, use sunscreen daily, and consider your skin type and concerns. Consulting with a dermatologist or skincare professional can help you choose the right acids for your specific needs and ensure a safe and effective regimen. Remember that individual reactions may vary, so patch testing is a good practice when trying new products.

Step-by-Step Guide to a Complete Daily Skincare Routine for Glowing Skin
Achieving glowing, radiant skin is not just about using the right products but also about following a consistent daily skincare routine. Whether you’re new to skincare or looking to refine your routine, this guide will help you establish the perfect steps to get that luminous, healthy-looking skin you’ve always wanted.
Step 1: Cleanse Your Face (Morning and Night)
Cleansing is the foundation of any skincare routine. It removes dirt, excess oil, makeup, and impurities that accumulate on your skin throughout the day.
Morning: Use a gentle cleanser suited to your skin type. If you have oily skin, opt for a foaming or gel cleanser. Dry skin types may benefit from a hydrating cream cleanser.
Night: Double cleansing is recommended in the evening. Start with an oil-based cleanser to dissolve makeup and sunscreen, then follow up with your regular cleanser to ensure your skin is thoroughly clean.
Pro tip: Use lukewarm water to wash your face, as hot water can strip your skin of its natural oils, causing dryness and irritation.
Step 2: Apply a Toner
Toners help balance the skin’s pH level and remove any remaining traces of dirt or makeup. They also prep the skin for the next steps of your routine.
Choose the right toner: If you have oily or acne-prone skin, look for toners with salicylic acid or witch hazel. For dry or sensitive skin, opt for a hydrating toner with ingredients like rose water or glycerin.
How to apply: Use a cotton pad or your hands to gently pat the toner onto your skin.
Pro tip: Avoid toners with alcohol, as they can dry out your skin and cause irritation.
Step 3: Use a Serum
Serums are packed with active ingredients designed to target specific skin concerns. This is where you can tailor your skincare routine based on what your skin needs.
For glowing skin: Vitamin C serums are excellent for brightening and evening out skin tone. It’s also a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from environmental damage.
For hydration: If your skin feels dry or dull, a serum with hyaluronic acid can deeply hydrate and plump your skin.
Pro tip: Apply your serum while your skin is still slightly damp from toner to help lock in hydration.
Step 4: Apply Eye Cream
The skin around the eyes is delicate and prone to dryness, fine lines, and puffiness. Incorporating an eye cream into your routine helps to address these issues.
For dark circles and puffiness: Look for eye creams with caffeine or peptides.
For fine lines and hydration: Hyaluronic acid or retinol-based eye creams are great for minimizing fine lines and keeping the under-eye area hydrated.
Pro tip: Use your ring finger to gently pat the eye cream around your eyes, as it exerts the least pressure.
Step 5: Moisturize
Moisturizing is crucial for keeping your skin hydrated and creating a protective barrier. A good moisturizer will seal in all the products you’ve applied in the previous steps.
For oily skin: Choose a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer, such as a gel or water-based product.
For dry skin: A richer, cream-based moisturizer will provide the necessary hydration.
Pro tip: Don’t skip moisturizing, even if you have oily skin. Proper hydration helps to regulate your skin’s oil production and prevent breakouts.
Step 6: Sunscreen (Morning Only)
Sunscreen is the most important step in your morning routine. Daily sun protection prevents premature aging, hyperpigmentation, and skin cancer.
Broad-spectrum SPF: Choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to protect against both UVA and UVB rays.
How to apply: Use about a nickel-sized amount and apply it evenly across your face and neck. Reapply every two hours if you’re outdoors.
Pro tip: If you’re using makeup, look for a moisturizer or foundation with built-in SPF for added protection.
Step 7: Exfoliate (1-2 Times a Week)
Exfoliation is essential for removing dead skin cells that can make your skin look dull and clog your pores. However, over-exfoliating can irritate your skin, so limit this step to once or twice a week.
For physical exfoliation: Use a gentle scrub with fine particles to buff away dead skin cells.
For chemical exfoliation: A chemical exfoliant containing AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) or BHA (beta hydroxy acid) can effectively slough off dead skin without being abrasive.
Pro tip: Always follow exfoliation with a good moisturizer, as exfoliation can leave your skin feeling dry or tight.
Step 8: Face Mask (1-2 Times a Week)
A face mask is a great addition to your skincare routine, especially when your skin needs an extra boost. Face masks can target various skin concerns, from hydration to deep cleansing.
For glowing skin: Look for masks with ingredients like Vitamin C, turmeric, or honey that brighten the complexion.
For hydration: A mask with hyaluronic acid or aloe vera can soothe and replenish dry skin.
Pro tip: Apply your face mask after cleansing and before moisturizing to get the most benefit from the ingredients.
Additional Tips for Glowing Skin:
Stay hydrated: Drinking plenty of water is key to keeping your skin hydrated from the inside out. Aim for at least 8 glasses of water a day.
Eat a balanced diet: Incorporating foods rich in antioxidants, such as berries, leafy greens, and nuts, can help promote healthy, glowing skin.
Get enough sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night to allow your skin to repair and rejuvenate. Lack of sleep can lead to dull, tired-looking skin.
Don’t skip SPF: Sun damage is one of the leading causes of premature aging. Wearing sunscreen daily is crucial for maintaining youthful, glowing skin.
Consistency is key: Stick to your skincare routine every day, and be patient. It can take a few weeks to see noticeable improvements, but consistency will pay off.
Conclusion
A daily skincare routine doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective. By following these simple steps—cleanse, tone, treat, moisturize, and protect—you can achieve glowing, radiant skin that looks and feels healthy. Tailor your routine to your skin’s specific needs, and remember to be consistent for long-lasting results.

VLCC Institute Facial Gua Sha
Gua sha is an ancient Chinese technique which helps in healing the chronic pain for a better health. This is a natural therapy which involves scraping your skin with a crystal stone to improve your circulation. Gua means scrape and sha means sand, this has been used for thousands of years.
Gua sha is done aggressively on the body but is done very gently on the face. Gentle scraping movement is repeatedly done on the face to remove stagnated fluids which carry the toxins. Gua sha encourages collagen production. It helps in sculpting and toning the face naturally. It reduces the tension from the muscles and also reduces inflammation.
The amazing benefit of gua sha is that it can be used by all ages and skin types.
Drains out the lymph fluid which often carries the toxins and thus helps in cleansing the skin.
Helps in releasing the tensions from the muscles.
Helps in de-puffing the face.
Helps in de-puffing the under eyes which aids in eliminating dark circles.
Improves skin elasticity.
Plumps the skin and gives a natural glow to the skin.
Reduces the acne.
Increases microcirculation.
Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkle.
Gives relief from headache.
Because this is a natural healing remedy, gua sha is completely safe. However one must consider the following points before performing gua sha on your face or body:
As it involves scraping method, the tiny blood vessels on the skin surface may tend to burst and cause bruising.
Do not perform gua sha if you have just got done Botox.
Avoid gua sha, if you had surgery in last six weeks.
Avoid doing it on active acne and open lesions.
People who have blood clotting disorders should stay away from gua sha.
First choose the right tool for gua sha. You have so many crystals which come in different sizes and shapes. Every crystal is unique as they are natural stones. Always opt for an original crystal rather than plastic mixed stone, as the plastic irritates your skin. These tools are pricey but are very effective in giving you the desired results with consistent use.
Follow these steps to do Facial Gua Sha:
To begin with, wash your hands and face then make sure to apply generous amount of oil so that the stone can easily glide on the skin without causing any tugging and pulling of the skin.
Simple rule to do facial gua sha is to follow the flow of lymphatic system. This helps in draining out the toxins.
The movement should be very slow and gentle on the skin & the tool should be held flat at a 15 degree angle to make full benefit of the stone.
Start from neck area because you hold lot of muscle tension in that area. Start sweeping the stone towards the direction of lymph node. Repeat it at least 3 to 10 times for the actual action.
Next sweep up on both the sides of neck (you can refer the picture provided for guidance).
Sweep from under the chin to the earlobe ending as you have lymph node here which helps in filtering the toxins.
Sweep from mid chin to the jaw line.
Sweep under the cheek bone for a sculpted look.
Sweep under the eyes, this helps against dark circles.
Sweep over the eyebrows, there is a lot of tension here because of frequent facial expressions.
Sweep from between eyebrows towards the hairline and from mid forehead to the hairline.
Now finish the session by completely sliding all the collected fluids at the sides to the neck which assist in lymphatic drainage.
AFTER CARE
After the session clean the tool with a mild cleanser, dry and sanitize. You can recharge the stone by keeping it under the full moon. You can use this stone for lifetime unless it breaks. Store the stone wrapping it up in a soft cloth. Drink lots of water after the gua sha which aids in fast lymph movement. Also rehydrates your skin and body. You can do gua sha almost every day. Do it consistently to see the results. This helps in maintaining your skin health.

Simple Skin Routine
This is the last post in my series Simplest Skin Routine and Simpler Skin Routine. If you read both of these posts, follow these routines, but want to add a few more products without it being too complicated, then this post is for you! Or, if you see those videos on youtube of skin care influencers with huge skin routines with all these different products and think "I want that, but their complicated skin routine is intimidating", then this post is also for you! The first routine I proposed had 1 product, the next had 3 products, this one has 6 products. So, it's the longest out of all the skin routines, but it's still simple, so don't worry! However, unlike the previous posts, this routine has a very specific order and specific times throughout the day/week that you use these products. So the order you see the products is the order they should be used. With that in mind, here is the routine:
Cleanser
Cleanse your face first to remove anything that has built up on your face (oil, dirt, makeup, etc.). If you have oily or acne-probe skin (includes combination skin), I would recommend doing this every morning and night. If you have drier skin, you may not need to do this, but it would still be good if you do. Just make sure to use more moisturiser to avoid drying out your skin. If you don't know what type of cleanser to use, I go over this in a bit more detail in my last post. But if you just want the short version here, just choose a cleanser that matches your skin type (oily, acne-probe, dry, very dry, normal, combination, sensitive).
Hydrating Serum
This is a very important step if you have dry skin. If you have dry or very dry skin, I would recommend using a hydrating serum every morning and night after cleansing. If you have oily skin, I would recommend using it just once a day, either in the morning or at night (doesn't really matter). The most popular kind of hydrating serum right now is hyaluronic acid. That's because it holds and seals a lot of moisture into the skin and can make your moisturiser more effective. I've seen some people using multiple different types of hydrating serums in order to hydrate their skin as much as possible to get the glass skin affect. Be careful doing this though, as over-hydrating your skin will also lead to skin problems. Also, be careful if you have sensitive skin, as hyaluronic acid has been known to cause irritation on sensitive skin. There are different hydrating serums that target sensitive skin if you want to try those, but if you can give hyaluronic acid serums a go if you want. It's not guaranteed to cause irritation, it's just that some people with sensitive skin experience it.
Vitamin C Serum
Very important for skin health! It reduces dark spots, brightens skin, and has many other benefits. Most vitamin C serums will say to apply it both morning and night, but vitamin C lasts 24 hours, so you only need to apply it once a day (I do it at night). This video by Lab Muffin explains it at 00:00. As far as I know, vitamin c can be used on any skin type. However, different brands use a different combination of ingredients, so if you are worried that it will negatively affect your skin, make sure to do some extra research to find the right product for you. Also, side note, don't think you need to buy the most expensive vitamin c serum in order to see results. Even a small amount of vitamin c will improve the health of your skin, so you can absolutely get a cheap one and still see results!
Moisturiser
Again, I talked more about choosing the right moisturiser in my last post, but the short version is to choose one that matches your skin type. Make sure to use your moisturiser after your hydrating serum at least once a day to keep your skin healthy + hydrated!
Sunscreen
I also went over this in greater detail in my two previous posts (first one, second one). Many people want to skip this step because they hate the feeling of sunscreen, but there are so many options, I promise you will find one that feels right for you!
Exfoliator
You should exfoliate your skin in some way once a week. I wouldn't recommend exfoliating daily, as it could damage your skin. Some people use a brush or any rough cloth to exfoliate, but only do this if you do not have sensitive skin or any other skin conditions (such as acne or eczema). If you don't have these conditions, then an exfoliating brush is a great way to save money on an exfoliator, as you can use it on any part of your body (just be gentle on your face). But, if you do have some of those conditions, then an exfoliating brush will be too harsh on your skin. Even if you don't have those conditions, it can still sometimes be too harsh. So, make sure to see how your skin reacts to certain products and see if it's helping or hurting your skin. If you're not using an exfoliating brush, then you can use an exfoliating product that you put on your face. There are many different types, but just choose one that fits your skin type (oily, dry, combination, etc). Lots of people recommend Paula's Choice exfoliator, but it is very expensive. Don't feel like you have to get an expensive one, just get any that you like the look of to start with and go from there.
So there's the very last skin routine in my "simple skin care" series! I hope you found these posts useful!

2: choose the right cream and cleanser for your skin, wash your face twice a day.
3: do not have a 10 step routine it’s useless, the less the better :)
4: i personally use complements to help, i recommend using some zinc, it’s so helpful with acne/ scares and dilates pores + it’s cheap.
5: always use sunscreen, even in winter the uv can damage your skin.

10-Step Korean Skincare Routine: A Deep Dive
Korean skincare, known for its comprehensive and often transformative effects, has been the buzzword in the global beauty sphere. Boasting a 10-step regimen, K-beauty is more than just a ritual; it's a testament to the meticulous care Koreans give to their skin. With each step crafted to cater to a specific need, this routine aims to provide thorough care, yielding coveted glass skin. Let's venture into this regime, offering not just explanations but also statistical validations.
1. Oil-Based Cleanser
Initiating the process is the oil-based cleanser, a hero in removing stubborn, oil-based residues. Makeup, SPF, and even the relentless sebum produced by your skin is no match for these cleansers. According to Statista, oil cleansers saw a 30% surge in sales in 2020, indicating their popularity.
Suggestion: Explore Some Popular Cleansers on Aigoo to find your ideal match. Gentle circular motions will ensure makeup and grime melt away.
2. Water-Based Cleanser
The follow-up with a water-based cleanser ensures every trace of dirt and sweat is gone. Did you know? A survey by the Dermatology Research and Practice indicated that 70% of skin issues arise due to improper cleansing. This step guarantees a pristine base.
Suggestion: Choose sulfate-free cleansers to maintain your skin's natural moisture.
3. Exfoliation
Shedding away the dead skin cells to reveal a brighter complexion is the mission here. Allure magazine stated in a 2019 report that regular exfoliation can enhance skin luminosity by 20%. Dive into Some Popular Exfoliators from Aigoo to unveil a refreshed skin.
Suggestion: Limit to 2-3 times weekly. Excessive exfoliation can be counterproductive.
4. Toner
A toner's task is two-fold: re-balance skin pH and enhance hydration. A report by the Korean Dermatological Association linked balanced skin pH with reduced acne occurrence.
Suggestion: Dive into Aigoo's curated list of Some Popular Toners and find the perfect fit for your skin.
5. Essence
Essences, the lightweight serums, infuse your skin with hydration and active ingredients. A Pew Research study highlighted the booming essence market in Asia, underscoring its significance.
Suggestion: Explore Some Popular Essence from Aigoo and embrace the hydration magic.
6. Treatments (Serums & Ampoules)
Targeting specific issues from dark spots to fine lines, these potent solutions are crucial. Serums generally offer higher active ingredient concentrations. Ampoules, on the other hand, are like supercharged serums with even more potency. Statista recorded a 25% increase in serum and ampoule sales last year, marking their soaring demand.
Suggestion: Discover the vast range of Some Popular Serums and Ampoules on Aigoo.
7. Sheet Masks
The heart of K-beauty, sheet masks, saturated in nurturing serums, are a spa in a packet. As per the Korean Journal of Aesthetic Cosmetology, regular masking can amplify skin hydration levels by up to 40%.
Suggestion: Aigoo's collection of Some Popular Sheet Masks offers a plethora of choices to suit various skin needs.
8. Eye Cream
Addressing the fragile skin around the eyes, eye creams tackle dark circles, wrinkles, and puffiness. An article by Harper's Bazaar claimed that the right eye cream could cut down the appearance of fine lines by nearly 25%.
Suggestion: Apply using your ring finger for gentle care.
9. Moisturizer
Sealing all the nutrients and hydration, moisturizers are quintessential. According to the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, regular moisturizing can prevent early signs of aging.
Suggestion: Browse Aigoo's Some Popular Moisturizer range to find your holy grail.
10. Sunscreen
Guarding against UV rays is the sunscreen's primary role. Sunscreen use not only prevents sunburn but also combats premature aging. The Skin Cancer Foundation reported that daily sunscreen application can reduce skin-aging effects by 24%.
Suggestion: Reapply every two hours, especially if outdoors.
In Summary
The 10-step Korean skincare routine stands as a testament to holistic skincare, targeting every conceivable skin need. While its intricacy might seem daunting, the results, as vouched for by millions, are undeniably exceptional. With the curated product lists from Aigoo, your initiation into the K-beauty world becomes seamless. Remember, consistency is the key. Embrace the routine and watch your skin thank you in radiance.

Women's Guide to Achieving Beautiful Skin with the Right Face Wash!
Achieving beautiful skin is a goal that every woman desires. While there are various ways to achieve this, the foundation of good skincare lies in choosing the right face wash.
When it comes to achieving beautiful skin, a proper skincare routine is crucial. One of the most important steps in any skincare routine is cleansing the face. This is where the right face wash comes in. However, with so many options available on the market, it can be overwhelming to choose the right one. In this blog, we will discuss the women's guide to achieving beautiful skin with the right face wash.
Understand Your Skin Type:
The first step in choosing the right face wash is to understand your skin type. Women have different skin types - dry, oily, combination, sensitive, or normal. The right face wash for each skin type will vary.
For dry skin, a hydrating and gentle face wash is ideal, such as those with ingredients like glycerin, hyaluronic acid, or aloe vera.
For oily skin, a face wash with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide can help reduce excess oil and prevent breakouts.
For combination skin, a mild, pH-balanced cleanser that doesn't strip the skin of natural oils is a good choice.
For sensitive skin, a fragrance-free, hypoallergenic face wash with gentle ingredients like oatmeal or chamomile can help soothe the skin.
And for normal skin, a mild, non-irritating face wash is suitable.
Taking care of our skin should be a part of our daily routine. However, finding a suitable face wash that addresses our skin type and concerns can be challenging. Lukewarm glutathione facewash has gained popularity due to its effectiveness on all skin types.
Read Labels Carefully:
Once you've identified your skin type, it's time to start reading labels. Look for face washes that are formulated with natural ingredients that are gentle on the skin. Avoid face washes that contain harsh chemicals, fragrances, or alcohol, as these can irritate the skin.
Some ingredients to look for in a face wash include:
Salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide for acne-prone skin
Glycerin, hyaluronic acid, or aloe vera for dry skin
Vitamin C or antioxidants for anti-aging benefits
Tea tree oil or witch hazel for oily skin
Chamomile or oatmeal for sensitive skin
Lukewarm Facewash incorporates the unique ingredient, glutathione, which shields the skin from harm caused by toxins, UV rays, and other environmental elements. This face wash blends glutathione's antioxidant properties with organic ingredients such as Turmeric, vitamin C, and vitamin E. As a result, it brightens the skin tone, minimizes irritation, and effectively removes impurities.
Consider Your Lifestyle :
Another factor to consider when choosing the right face wash is your lifestyle. If you're someone who wears a lot of makeup, you'll need a face wash that can effectively remove all traces of makeup without stripping your skin of its natural oils. If you exercise regularly, a face wash that can remove sweat and impurities is ideal.
If you live in a city with high pollution levels, a face wash with antioxidants can help protect your skin from damage caused by environmental pollutants.
Lukewarm Glutathione Facewash is a gentle and effective cleanser suitable for all skin types. It works by removing dead skin cells, promoting overall skin health and appearance, and is gentle enough for delicate skin. If you're considering incorporating a new exfoliant into your beauty routine, try lukewarm glutathione facewash for consistent and excellent results.
In conclusion, achieving beautiful skin requires a consistent skincare routine, and the right face wash plays a significant role in that routine. By understanding your skin type, reading labels carefully, and considering your lifestyle, you can choose a face wash that is perfect for your needs. Remember to be patient and give your skin time to adjust to a new product before expecting results. With the right face wash, you can achieve healthy, glowing, and beautiful skin.

How to Choose the Best Natural Skin Care Products
If you want to improve your skin's health and radiance, you should look into natural skin care products. These are safe, effective and kind to the animals.
Using a high-performance cleanser can help you remove dead skin cells and make your skin more beautiful. It contains organic ingredients and it can be used for both facial and body cleansing. This formula is suitable for all types of skin, even if you have dry, sensitive, or acne-prone skin.
If you have a dull complexion, a moisturizing spray with antioxidants can give you healthy, glowing skin. The odorless and non-greasy formula is perfect for everyday use and can be applied to your face, eyes and lips. You can also use it as a makeup setter or moisturizer.
Your skin is unique and a good natural skin care product should be designed to meet your needs. For example, if you have sensitive skin, you may need to conduct an at-home patch test before using the product. Another reason you should not apply products containing synthetic chemicals is that they can cause hormonal imbalances.
Natural skin care products include plant-based oils and extracts. They can be used on all skin types, and the ingredients are all vegan and cruelty-free.
Sunflower oil is a mild plant oil that contains essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants. It can be used to treat various skin disorders and has been used in skincare remedies since the Egyptians.
Coconut oil is another popular moisturizer that has several benefits for your skin. It can protect you from the environment, promote collagen synthesis, and help balance the natural oils of your skin. It also has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Rosehip oil is rich in antioxidants and vitamins A, C, E, and K. It has anti-inflammatory properties, as well as anti-carcinogenic and anti-aging benefits.
Sea buckthorn oil is another effective oil that can help fight wrinkles and reduce the negative effects of eczema and acne. It can also help heal wounds, reducing the risk of infection.
Aloe vera has been used by ancient Greeks and Egyptians for its soothing and healing properties. Depending on the formulation, it can be very potent. But, if you suffer from allergies, be sure to read the ingredient list.
Having a healthy diet and maintaining a natural skin care routine is the best way to maintain healthy, glowing skin. Choosing a cleanser, moisturizer, and exfoliator that works with your specific needs will help you feel more confident.
If you are just starting out with natural skin care, the first step is to choose a high-performance cleanser. You can add an exfoliating scrub or serum to your routine if you like. However, you should start with a cleanser and use moisturizer as your main skin care regimen. Once you are comfortable with this method, you can expand to a weekly facial. To find the right skin care for your needs, look for a formula that is affordable and contains pure, clean ingredients.

Skincare Routines for Every Skin Type: A Complete Guide
Your skin is unique, just like you! A personalized skincare routine is essential to achieving and maintaining healthy, glowing skin. Whether your skin is oily, dry, combination, or sensitive, finding the right skincare for every skin type can make a world of difference. At Paddie Hair & More, a unisex salon in Mumbai, we understand that great skincare is the foundation of confidence. In this guide, we’ll explore tailored routines for each skin type, empowering you to embrace your best self.
Understanding Your Skin Type
Before diving into routines, it’s crucial to identify your skin type. Here are the four primary categories:
Oily Skin: Shiny complexion, enlarged pores, prone to acne.
Dry Skin: Tightness, flakiness, and a dull appearance.
Combination Skin: Oily in the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin) but dry or normal elsewhere.
Sensitive Skin: Easily irritated by products, redness, and inflammation.
The Core Steps of a Personalized Skincare Routine
Regardless of your skin type, a basic skincare routine consists of four essential steps:
Cleansing: Removes dirt, oil, and makeup.
Toning: Balances the skin’s pH and prepares it for treatments.
Moisturizing: Locks in hydration and keeps the skin barrier healthy.
Sun Protection: Shields against harmful UV rays and prevents premature aging.
Skincare Routine for Oily Skin
Morning Routine:
Cleanser: Use a gel-based or foaming cleanser with salicylic acid to control oil and prevent acne.
Toner: Opt for an alcohol-free toner with witch hazel or tea tree oil.
Serum: Lightweight serums with niacinamide can reduce oil production.
Moisturizer: Use an oil-free, non-comedogenic moisturizer.
Sunscreen: A mattifying SPF 30+ sunscreen is a must.
Evening Routine:
Double Cleanse: Start with a gentle oil cleanser, followed by a salicylic acid cleanser.
Exfoliation: Use a BHA exfoliant twice a week to unclog pores.
Treatment: Apply a spot treatment for acne-prone areas.
Night Cream: Choose a lightweight, hydrating gel-based night cream.
Skincare Routine for Dry Skin
Morning Routine:
Cleanser: Use a hydrating, cream-based cleanser that doesn’t strip natural oils.
Toner: Look for toners with hyaluronic acid or glycerin for added hydration.
Serum: A hyaluronic acid serum provides intense moisture.
Moisturizer: Use a rich, emollient moisturizer.
Sunscreen: Choose a moisturizing sunscreen with SPF 30+.
Evening Routine:
Cleanser: A gentle milk or cream cleanser is ideal.
Treatment: Use a retinol or peptide-based serum for skin repair.
Moisturizer: Opt for a deeply nourishing night cream or sleeping mask.
Facial Oil: Add a few drops of facial oil to lock in hydration.
Skincare Routine for Combination Skin
Morning Routine:
Cleanser: Use a mild, gel-based cleanser that doesn’t overdry.
Toner: Apply a balancing toner to address both oily and dry areas.
Serum: A vitamin C serum can brighten the skin and even out tone.
Moisturizer: Use a lightweight gel moisturizer for the T-zone and a richer cream for dry areas.
Sunscreen: Use an SPF 30+ sunscreen suitable for combination skin.
Evening Routine:
Cleanser: Double cleanse to remove makeup and excess oil.
Exfoliation: Use an AHA/BHA exfoliant twice a week for balanced skin renewal.
Treatment: Target specific concerns like acne or dryness with appropriate serums.
Night Cream: A gel-cream formula works well to hydrate without overwhelming oily areas.
Skincare Routine for Sensitive Skin
Morning Routine:
Cleanser: Use a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser.
Toner: Apply a soothing toner with chamomile or aloe vera.
Serum: Antioxidant serums with niacinamide are great for calming inflammation.
Moisturizer: Opt for a hypoallergenic moisturizer with ceramides.
Sunscreen: Mineral-based sunscreens with zinc oxide are less likely to irritate.
Evening Routine:
Cleanser: Stick to the same gentle cleanser as in the morning.
Treatment: Avoid harsh treatments; instead, use a calming serum with allantoin.
Moisturizer: Use a rich, barrier-repairing cream.
Optional: Apply a cooling mask with oatmeal once a week to soothe the skin.
Skincare Tips for Every Skin Type
Hydration is key: Regardless of your skin type, drink plenty of water.

Skin Care for Oily Skin: Tips for a Healthy Glow
Managing oily skin can be challenging, but with the right skin care routine, you can maintain a fresh, healthy look all day. Excess oil production often leads to clogged pores, breakouts, and an unbalanced complexion. The key to effective skin care for oil skin is to regulate sebum production without stripping the skin of its natural moisture.
Start your routine with a gentle, oil-reducing cleanser. An Oil Reduction Face Wash with Charcoal, Neem, and Green Tea Extracts is an excellent choice. Charcoal helps draw out impurities and excess oil, while neem's antibacterial properties combat acne-causing bacteria. Green tea extracts soothe inflammation and reduce redness, leaving your skin refreshed and balanced.
Follow up with a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer to hydrate without adding extra shine. Look for products labeled "non-comedogenic" to prevent clogged pores. Exfoliate 1-2 times a week with a mild scrub to remove dead skin cells and improve skin texture.
Don’t forget sun protection! Choose a matte-finish sunscreen to control shine while protecting your skin from harmful UV rays.
Consistency is key in managing oily skin. With the right products and routine, you can achieve a radiant, healthy complexion without excess shine.
